The unique NFT is a tangible item that connects to exclusive digital artwork that is accessible via a QR code on the back. The Space Key is made of carbon composite materials that Lamborghini, as part a research project in 2019 was sent to the International Space Station. The carbon fiber was crafted into a unique artwork when it returned to Earth. The physical component is engraved with an NFT serial number that ties to the digital artwork via a QR code that is located on the back.
NFTs, for those who aren't familiar they are unique identifiers that are recorded on a distributed ledger of the blockchain and linked to an digital asset such as a photograph, video, song or any other kind of record. This lets owners ensure the authenticity, scarcity and the traceability of their tokens on the internet.

The carbon fiber was 3D printed to form the base of each Space Key, which is connected to an exclusive, purely digital artwork using an QR code on its backside. Only five Space Keys were produced.

The Space Key is a collection of five physical items which allows you to access an exclusive digital work by an unknown artist. The "collectors' piece" was developed in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm) and is limited to only five units. It will be auctioned off soon.
At the center of each Space Key is a block made of the most advanced carbon fire composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research project. After returning to Earth the block was engraved with QR codes that link to the digital element in the Space Key.
Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that takes place at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. More than 600 million pixels make each of the five images that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.
Oefner utilized an inflatable camera that had a lens to capture the individual images, which were later put together into the final image. The result is an image that is out of this world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic picture of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned in the near future, however there is no exact date or time yet.
